Mission

Mr. Homan is by far the best math teacher I’ve had and I think best represents this university. He’s more than generous with his time and is more than willing to try to understand something from the students point of view. He has a very deep and strong understanding of the material but is still able to see where a student can be confused by something. He’s also very funny and teaches in an engaging way.

Take him if you want to actually understand the material. I have never retained the information like I have with his course. I can actually apply differential equations, and I know exactly why and what I am doing all because of Tim! I pray that I get to take him again in another course!

Extremely helpful. Was always understanding and tried to make sure we all understood the material. Really seemed to care about us understanding and wanted us to learn. One of the best teachers I’ve had here.

Cool dude, love the dry humor it really helps you stay awake in the morning. 10/10 would recommend!

The instructor was great. His method of presentation was extremely conducive to learning and he always provided ample examples and answered any questions along the way. Class was always productive, but was not boring or draining, but rather had a friendly atmosphere. Additionally, he went out of his way to be accessible to the students and ensure we were properly equipped to succeed. He genuinely wanted the students to succeed and learn. I believe he did a superb job in accomplishing this.

One of the best math teachers I have ever had. Makes math enjoyable. I would definitely take him again or recommend him.

He is an amazing math instructor.
I have always struggled with math, but he taught in a way that was clear. There was no unnecessary side talk, and in addition to the method the reasoning behind the method was always taught. He was also very helpful with learning use the particular calculator required by the math lab.
